Dr Peng Ng graduated from the University of Queensland in 1984 and completed his specialist training in Portsmouth, England.
He has more than 30 years of experience in IVF and related assisted conception practices. In Brisbane alone, he has run a successful IVF practice since 1996.
While training in Newcastle, NSW, he worked at the Lingard IVF Unit. Dr Ng then spent two years working in St Mary’s Hospital, Portsmouth, England, where he gained further invaluable experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, infertility, assisted conception and general gynaecology.
Upon returning to Brisbane, Dr Ng worked at the Mater Hospital as a senior consultant for 10 years. He has been instrumental in teaching doctors at the Mater Hospital the best practice in infertility management, advanced laparoscopic surgery, cervical dysplasia treatment and external cephalic version.
Dr Ng takes regular referrals from other Gynaecologists for difficult Laparoscopic operations and infertility cases. He had Advanced Laparoscopic training in England and in Sydney.
He speaks fluent Chinese dialects including Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujian, Taishan plus the Malay language.
