Dr Tan is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, specialising in fertility, high-risk obstetrics and operative gynaecology. She is passionate about providing the highest standard of care for her patients from fertility treatment to pregnancy and birth.
Dedicated to providing individualised patient treatment that exceeds expectations, Dr Tan cares for patients with a wide range of fertility needs including the LGBTI community and single women. Her interests include the management of fertility issues and pregnancy in women with pre-existing medical conditions, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and recurrent miscarriage.
She is currently completing a post-graduate Masters of Reproductive Health degree through the University of New South Wales.
In 2006, she graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She underwent specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and completed a further two years of advanced training in high-risk obstetrics, fertility ultrasound and gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Parkville.
Dr Tan consults at Northpark Private Hospital in Bundoora and the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg. She has a public hospital appointment at the Mercy Hospital and is actively involved in mentoring and training of junior doctors.
Dr Tan is committed to exceptional patient care as she strives to give people the best chance of having a child. She believes every patient is different and requires individualised management.
