Since graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine in 1988, Dr Anthony Cerqui has gone on to develop and run his own multidisciplinary practice in Toowoomba for the past 21 years.

With decades of experience providing gynaecological, obstetric and fertility care, he is known to be a highly supportive and collaborative specialist who values patient-centred care. Dr Cerqui prides himself on his progressive and compassionate approach to treating all patients which is echoed in his exceptional patient care along with his friendly and caring disposition.

Dr Cerqui and his dedicated team handle all aspects of all LGBTI+ fertility treatments ranging from surrogacy to egg and sperm donor cycles while understanding the needs of the LGBTI+ community and tailoring programs to ensure comprehensive fertility care.

He is pleased to offer all areas of fertility care to his patients to ensure they are given the best chance at falling pregnant. He makes sure patients fully understand the fertility process and the nuances of the options available to them, ensuring all of his patients are empowered with the right information to make informed decisions about which option is best for their individual circumstances.

Dr Cerqui is highly experienced in and well-equipped to perform fertility treatments and advanced ultrasounds as well as gynaecological and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries including robotic approach, ensuring an exceptional standard of treatment for all patients.

While passionate about all facets of gynaecological and obstetric care, Dr Cerqui holds particular interests in infertility, high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, pelvic organ repair, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, abnormal menstrual bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, colposcopy, and general gynaecology.
