Rainbow Fertility Brisbane is proud to announce that Dr Tiarna Ernst has joined the Rainbow Fertility Team. Dr Ernst is passionate about fertility health, gender equality, education and leadership.
Dr Ernst is a multi-talented professional who prides herself on her commitment to a non-judgemental, progressive, and compassionate approach to treating all her patients. She is very proud to serve the LGBTI+ community with all assisted conception options.
In conjunction with her passion for medicine, Dr Ernst is an active speaker on the topics of gender equality and enthusiastically participates in numerous conferences and presentations about empowerment. Dr Ernst was a premiership winning AFLW player for the Western Bulldogs before moving to the Gold Coast Suns, all while juggling her obstetrics and gynaecology training.
“It has given me the skills to be able to work successfully with any colleague, build strong relationships with my team members and patients, and be able to work effectively within any emergency/difficult situation,” Dr Ernst said she is particularly passionate about addressing the topics of overcoming systemic barriers to gender inequality and navigating the challenges facing professionals within their workplace and sporting arena.
The areas Dr Ernst currently specialise in include IVF and fertility care, gynaecology, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery and also holds a special interest in menstrual health.
