Dr Shamon is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). He has been involved in public practice from a clinical and teaching perspective for more than 14 years and has an established private practice in south-east Melbourne. He is highly regarded by his patients for his friendly and caring nature. He also works as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist at Monash Medical Centre.

Dr Shamon is an extensively trained and experienced obstetrics surgeon who has admitting rights at Monash Medical Centre, Jessie McPherson Private Hospital and Waverley Private Hospital. He is also part of Monash Obstetrics, a comprehensive care group in the south-eastern Melbourne area, providing infertility, gynaecology and obstetrics expertise.

Dr Shamon believes in empowering patients with informed choices and therefore, encourages his patients to ask any questions they may have.

Dr Shamon handles all aspects of LGBTI+ fertility treatment, from egg and sperm donor cycles to surrogacy.
