“My parents taught me to treat everyone as equals, so I’ve always made myself available to LGBTI+ patients. I hope Rainbow Fertility will enable many more to fulfil their dreams of becoming parents.”

Dr Lindstrom works primarily in:

  • IVF and fertility care.
  • Fertility-related gynaecology.
  • Endoscopic surgery for the treatment of endometriosis.

Dr Julie Lindstrom graduated from Queensland University in 1984, and gained extensive general medical experience in both rural and urban Australia, and the UK, before specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology, and going on to complete a masters in reproductive medicine at the UNSW.

She’s been involved in the treatment of subfertility and IVF patients since 1995 and went into private practice in 1997. Her practice has evolved to fertility treatment only, with an ongoing interest in endoscopic surgery for the management of endometriosis, fibroids and other fertility-related operations.

Dr Lindstrom is experienced in handling all aspects of LGBTI+ fertility treatment, from egg and sperm donor cycles, and surrogacy, to conditions like infertility or recurrent miscarriage. Whatever your situation, Dr Lindstrom and her administrative team take a considered approach, based on the understanding and compassion they’ve become known for.
