September is a special time for the LGBTIQ community, with the Brisbane Pride Festival creating an exciting vibe that stretches throughout the month.
More than 10,000 festival-goers are expected to flock to Queensland’s biggest event of its kind, which will be launched on September 7 and feature a free street party-style launch in King Street, Bowen Hills, the following day.
A highlight of the four-week celebration of diversity will be a rally, march and fair day in Brunswick Street and New Farm Park, New Farm, on Saturday 22nd September. With Anthony Callea headlining the entertainment program, music fans are in for a treat.
